Overnight Soufflé

Perfect as the centerpiece to your next weekend brunch or a breakfast item to share with others, this overnight soufflé uses our made-from-scratch Ciabatta as the foundation for a delectable dish. Top with your favorite hot sauce for additional spice and heat.

Ingredients

5 slices of Breadsmith Ciabatta

butter

3/4 cup cheddar cheese, shredded

6 eggs

2 cups milk

salt and freshly ground black pepper


Instructions

Spread butter on one side of each slice of Ciabatta. Cut the slices into eighths and place alternately into a 2-quart greased casserole dish.

Layer it with shredded cheddar cheese.

Beat 6 eggs with 2 cups of milk and season with salt and pepper. Pour over bread.

Refrigerate overnight.

Bake uncovered at 350 degrees for 60 to 75 minutes.
