– Read and understand the daily production materials.

– Assist with the production of breads, rolls, etc. when not baking.
– Thoroughly and completely clean up baking area and wash dishes.

– Assist with arranging completed product on shelves for sale.

Counter Associate
– Perform all customer interaction in a cordial, efficient and professional manner at all times while maintaining a commitment to customer satisfaction.
– Offer free samples to every customer who enters.
– Be knowledgeable about all products and their ingredients.
– Understand and demonstrate “suggestive selling” techniques when possible.
– Process and fill customer orders.
– Practice proper cash handling skills ensuring that cash drawer is less than $2.00 short on any given shift.
– Use proper telephone etiquette and interpersonal communication skills to take customer orders.
– Keep counter, sample board, and customer areas clean and organized at all times.
– Identify and complete other work-related tasks when not serving guest.
– Inform the supervisor of any guest complaints.
– Assist production staff (bench) personnel when /if necessary.

– Deliver the appropriate products to the corresponding wholesale customers.
– Swap out stale product and replace with fresh product.

– Report changes in wholesale customer orders and any customer complaints to supervisor.
– Assist bench (production) personnel, slice, package, process and fill wholesale customer orders as instructed.
– Keep the delivery vehicle clean at all times.

– Ensure that a high level of sanitation and cleanliness is maintained during and after each shift.
– Thoroughly and completely clean up mixing station area and wash dishes.

Pack and Slice
– Correctly identify all products.
– Read and understand pull sheets.
– Read and understand invoicing.
– Price and date all products to be delivered.
– Use a bread slicer to slice appropriate products.
– Package bread correctly and efficiently.
– Sort multiple products for individual accounts.
– Organize prepared orders by account.
– Organize packaged accounts by delivery route.
– Assist delivery drivers when necessary.
– Keep work area clean and organized at all times

Production Staff (Bench)
– Read and follow the daily production materials.
– Assist in daily production of bread, rolls, etc.
– Use proper lifting techniques when repeatedly lifting in excess of 50 pounds with assistance.
– Thoroughly clean out proofing buckets after dough has been dumped on table.
– Work two boules at a time and talk; be efficient and helpful.
– Practice safe and sanitary product handling (e.g. washing of hands prior to start of production).
– Practice proper knife handling.
– Ensure the cleanliness and sanitation of the production area at the conclusion of each shift.
– Assist at counter when necessary.
– Assist in training new production personnel when requested.
– Report to work on time (as scheduled) and in proper uniform.
