Breadsmith
is more than a bakery. It's an experience for customers
in search of healthy, low fat products that are hand-crafted
in the time-honored tradition of master bakers. Each loaf
of Breadsmith brand bread is made from scratch everyday.
The process begins at 2:30 a.m. with the mixing of the
finest quality ingredients, such as cracked wheat, oat
bran, cinnamon from Saigon and vanilla from Madagascar,
to name a few. The bread is then baked in a six-ton, stone
hearth, steam injected oven, imported from Europe. Its
even, radiant heat, creates a hearty, crisp crust. Most
of our breads are hand crafted without added oils, butter
or fat.
It starts with that aroma. The moment you step through
the door it hits you. The scent of stone-ground flours,
yeasts and just-baked grains. It is a world your grandfather
may have experienced, back when bread was bought and baked
daily in European street bazaars. And it's a world that
is being recreated by one of the most unique bakeries
in America.
